Clean water is a necessity for life. Growing up swimming in the oceans and lakes surrounding us, water is at the heart of everything we do.
We use recycled materials
and earth friendly practices because we want to enjoy this world—so we need to take care of it. Fenton Fox is dedicated to reducing our eco footprint, respecting the water and it's inhabitants.
We want you to have a good time and feel good about what you are wearing. With a dedicated commitment to the environment, we search for the best of the best and we think we found it. With consideration to our favorite playground, our suits are made out of fabrics that are:
- made of recycled plastic bottles. Lycra, nylon, and spandex are plastic, bottom line. So the least we can do is used recycled plastic. Repreve® is one of the most certified, earth-friendly fibers available in the world. These high-quality recycled polyester knits are made from plastic bottles and post-consumer materials! Compared to the virgin fiber creation process, these eco-friendly fabrics have fibers using new petroleum. This allows for lower greenhouse gas emissions and the ability to conserve water and energy in the process
- EPD certified ~ The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is based on the evaluation of the environmental impact of a product, by analyzing all the processing steps according to a series of specific indicators.
- sourced from an Italian mill, whose goals are to use energy more efficiently, utilizing less natural gas usage and water purification.
- or vintage remnants that RULE. Sadly, leftover fabric often gets trashed into a landfill... we search for it and grab it up if we know it’ll make a rad suit!
Our Italian fabric mill monitors every single stage of the production’s cycle in order to reduce the use of water, energy, chemicals and waste.
